Welcome to Velvet Paw Press! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, velvetpawpress.com, and your purchase of original artwork on physical products and digital downloads.

By accessing our site and making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

We offer two main types of products:

  1. Physical Products: We sell original artwork printed on demand on a variety of products (e.g., prints, apparel, home decor). These products are produced and shipped globally by our trusted third-party partner, Printful, Inc. (“Printful”).

  2. Digital Products: We sell original artwork as digital files for download. These are not physical items.

3. Orders & Contract

  • Placing an item in your cart does not reserve it. An order is only finalized once you complete the checkout process and we send you an order confirmation email.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, for reasons including but not limited to: product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, or issues with your payment.

  • For physical products, you will receive a shipping confirmation from us (relayed from Printful) once your order has been dispatched.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in your local currency and include applicable sales tax/VAT will be added at check-out where required by law.

  • Payment is processed securely through our payment gateway at checkout. We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods as displayed on the site.

  • Your payment card may be charged immediately upon order confirmation.

5. Shipping & Fulfillment (Physical Products)

  • Production & Shipping: All physical orders are manufactured and shipped directly by Printful from their distribution centers in the United States and Europe.

  • Shipping Times & Costs: Estimated shipping times and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the product. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed by Velvet Paw Press.

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email once your order is shipped.

  • Customs & Import Duties: For international orders outside the EU/EEA, you, the customer, are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes levied by your country. These are not included in the product or shipping price.

  • Shipping Address: You are responsible for providing the correct shipping address. We are not liable for orders lost or undelivered due to an incorrect address.

6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges (Physical Products)

As our products are print-on-demand and often personalized/customized, we operate a limited returns policy.

  • Damaged or Defective Items: If your item arrives damaged or with a printing defect, please contact us at info@velvetpawpress.com within 14 days of delivery. You must provide photographs of the damage/defect and the original packaging. We will work with Printful to arrange for a replacement or refund.

  • Wrong Item Received: If you receive the wrong item, contact us within 14 days of delivery with details and photographs, and we will arrange for a correction.

  • Change of Mind / Incorrect Size: Due to the custom nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, or if you ordered the wrong size. We may, at our sole discretion, offer a store credit in certain circumstances.

  • Non-Delivery: If your order is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact your local post office first. If the issue persists, contact us and we will investigate with the shipping carrier.

7. Digital Download Products

  • License: Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the digital artwork for personal, non-commercial use only.

  • Restrictions: You may not:

    • Resell, redistribute, sub-license, or share the digital file.

    • Use the artwork for commercial purposes, including but not limited to print-on-demand services, advertising, or as part of another product for sale.

    • Claim the artwork as your own.

  • No Refunds: Due to the immediate and non-returnable nature of digital products, all sales of digital downloads are final and non-refundable.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All artwork, designs, logos, and website content are the exclusive intellectual property of Velvet Paw Press and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content found on this site without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Velvet Paw Press, and our fulfillment partner Printful, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or products.

  • Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the product(s) in question.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
